MMG is a core development team composed of a group of people who have the expertise to strategically plan, develop and implement a communications strategy for your practice or organization.

Medical Multimedia Group, LLC was started in 1992 by Randale C. Sechrest, MD, an orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Sechrest began experimenting with computer assisted learning in his own practice in 1989. He was one of the early pioneers in applying computer based training (CBT) methodologies to help patients understand complex surgical procedures in orthopaedic surgery.

In 1994, MMG received the First Place award at the World Congress on Biomedical Communications for interactive multimedia software with the product A Patient's Guide to Low Back Pain. This was the first time the organization had judged the category of interactive software entries.

That same year, the public Internet began its incredible growth. Once again, in a remarkably forward looking strategy, MMG embraced the Internet immediately and reoriented the entire company to providing information online. It was Dr. Sechrest's vision that healthcare providers would need help to meet the evolving need for communicating with patients using this new medium - the Internet.

Today, that need is accelerating rapidly and the MMG vision is becoming a reality.
