A Letter from Our Practice President
Dear Patients of Tri-County Orthopedics,
Once again, it is our hope that this letter finds you and your families safe and well during this new COVID-19 reality. Over the last several weeks, we have been available to our patients for urgent visits and telemedicine evaluations. I am happy to announce that we are opening our office for patient visits on May 6 in a careful and well-considered way to continue to serve our patients and keep them safe as well as our staff. The following safeguards are going to be introduced:
- All staff will have their temperature taken each day prior to office hours.
- All patients will be given COVID screening questions and have their temperature taken as well.
- Social distancing will be maintained in the waiting room and clinical areas.
- We ask that no family members accompany patients except for ages under 18.
During the first two weeks, the volume of patients evaluated will be less so we can evaluate the policies above, and we will add more each following week as safety allows. The doctors at Tri-County Orthopedics understand that treating painful orthopedic injuries and conditions is an essential service. At this point, patients can choose to come to the office or continue with telemedicine visits guided by the severity of each person’s condition, balanced against leaving the safety of one’s home.
Tri-County Orthopedics is committed to the care of our patients and the welfare of our communities. We continue to make PPE donations to local healthcare facilities and funds to local food banks. If any patients can do either, please contact our office so we can facilitate the process for you. Stay well and stay safe.
Paul M. Lombardi, M.D.
President, Tri-County Orthopedics
