Fellowship-Trained Sports Medicine Specialist and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician Comes to Cedar Knolls
Samuel T. Dona, Jr., M.D., fellowship-trained Sports Medicine specialist and specialty-trained Physiatrist, has joined Tri-County Orthopedics. Dr. Dona will be providing care at their Cedar Knolls office at The Advanced Medical Center, located at 197 Ridgedale Ave., Suite 300. As a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine specialist and specialty-trained Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician, Dr. Dona offers the highest level of nonsurgical treatment for sports-related injuries, chronic musculoskeletal pain and other orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Dona earned his medical degree at the University of the East College of Medicine in the city of Manila in the Philippines. He went on to complete an internal medicine internship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where Dr. Dona then finished his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He later pursued additional specialty training through a Sports Medicine fellowship at Atlantic Sports Health in Morristown.
Dr. Dona is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and he has also received subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.
