Tri-County Orthopedics Welcomes Well-Known Expert Kara Allen-Artiglere, D.O.
Board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist Dr. Kara Allen-Artiglere has joined the most preferred, recognized and awarded orthopedic practice in the region: Tri-County Orthopedics. Dr. Allen-Artiglere will be seeing patients at Tri-County Orthopedics’ Cedar Knolls location at The Advanced Medical Center

With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Allen-Artiglere is a New Jersey native and well-known pain management specialist in the Tri-County area. She has extensive experience in pain management and strives to diagnose and conservatively treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal, arthritic and neuropathic conditions. Dr. Allen-Artiglere specializes in neck and back/spine pain, including the following:
- Electromyography, a diagnostic procedure that records electrical activity in muscles, helping identify nerve and muscle disorders.
- Nerve conduction studies, testing to evaluate nerve function and detect issues like damage or compression.
- Trigger point injections, which use medication directly applied to specific points in muscles to alleviate pain.

Dr. Allen-Artiglere received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Wesbury. She then completed an internship at St. Vincent's Midtown Hospital in New York City and went on to complete a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan. She is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
