Shoulder Arthroscopy

Using an arthroscope or small camera device, shoulder arthroscopy is performed to repair a torn rotator cuff, osteoarthritis, impingement syndrome, and some shoulder dislocations or instabilities without making significant incisions. Shoulder arthroscopy recovery time is significantly shorter than the recovery time of older types of shoulder surgery that involve using a larger incision. This means that you will have less scarring once the surgery is done and the shoulder should take less time to heal.
