Since day one of my replacement, I have had pain, but the previous surgeon said nothing was wrong. However, when I finally had enough of the pain, my friend recommended Dr. Goldman. After the x-ray, it was noted that I had a piece of cement protruding on the side, and upon further viewing, one of the components was off by about ten degrees. I was so relieved to finally get to the cause of my pain, thinking that for the past two and a half years, it was all in my head. Upon further consultation with Dr. Goldman, we decided to have a cortisone shot instead of another total knee replacement, and within three days, the pain subsided.
