- “I saw Dr. Lombardi in March 2012 complaining of severe pain in my right hip that I thought would necessitate my having to cancel a trip-of-a-lifetime to Turkey in July. Never thinking that I could have (and recover from) a hip replacement in time, I hoped for some interim treatment that might enable me to somehow get through the trip. I was amazed when Dr. Lombardi said, No problem, you can have an anterior replacement and be back to full function in six weeks. He performed the surgery on April 23, recovery and rehabilitation were remarkably easy (I had NO postoperative pain). I left for Turkey on July 12. The hip that was operated on was pain-free throughout many hours of walking to explore the historic sights of Istanbul and many miles of hiking to enjoy the country's wonderful butterflies. - “I came to Dr. Paul Lombardi after two months of going in circles with a cause for my problem. Within ten minutes I knew that osteoarthritis diagnosis I had been given elsewhere, had nothing to do with my symptoms. I had a photo of my leg sent to a infectious disease doctor. Dr. Lombardi and this infectious disease doctor spoke on the phone and order blood work and gave me an antibiotic to start me on until I would see the infectious disease doctor the very next week. Dr. Lombardi went out of his way, to get me to the right place and in a time frame that allowed me to have all the answers and the right medication in days not weeks. He also has a wonderful manner and he is calming and reassuring. I am so glad I was given his name and I can only say thank you again. God knows how much worse this would have been without him directing me to Dr. McManus. I will refer anyone I know that needs a good orthopedic doctor, and I can rave about your staff as well.
