The following are reviews from patients of Dr. D'Agostini
  • “It was absolutely superb. Dr. D'Agostini is the best. Far beyond the accolades he has received, his personal expectations of his professional skills, demonstrates outstanding leadership in his field. As he should, he expects the highest level of medical performance of those around his patients as well as of himself. This equates to successful recovery, a shortened hospital stay, and a diminished chance of complications. He is an extremely competent, confidant, and no nonsense physician that I would want taking care of me every time. I have chosen him for each of my hip replacements. I enjoy his consultations and professional services with confidence. He is truly one of the best.”

  • “The best. There is no better, Period !!!!! This past winter, I had taken a fall on the ice and had dislocated my shoulder. My general physician referred me to Tri-County Orthopedics. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a very professional staff, which was just amazing from the start. I was introduced to Dr. Stephen A. Hunt. From the start, he made me feel very comfortable and went over everything that was wrong. Dr. Hunt was able to relocate my shoulder. I was then advised that it would be in my best interest to have a MRI. After having my MRI, I was able to sit with Dr. Hunt. He went over everything, being very thorough and explaining to me, in detail, what was wrong with my shoulder do to the accident I had. I was advised that I could have arthroscopic surgery to repair the damage and tighten up my shoulder. Dr. Hunt told me that it would be up to me and if I had wanted, I could try physical therapy to see how it would go. I did not feel any pressure from him trying to push the surgery on me. Dr. Hunt was great. He explained the surgery from start to finish. I was told what he thought the outcome would be and what possible problems I could have. Being that I am an avid runner and weightlifter, I had many concerns on what I would be able to do and when I would be able to get back to my life. Dr. Hunt took the time to go into detail on every single question I had. I had my surgery this past March. From the second I was at the surgical center, I was greeted and taken care by the best staff. Dr. Hunt came in and met with me again before I was taken into surgery. He wanted to know if I had any last minute questions. My surgery went very well. When I was all finished, Dr. Hunt was there to tell me everything went well and looked very good. That night, when I was home resting, Dr. Hunt called me to see how I was feeling and wanted to know if I had any questions for him to answer. My first follow-up visit the next day was great again. Dr. Hunt told me how the surgery went and went over everything with me again on what the recovery process would be. I was advised on what I could and could not do. I am now in my last stage. I have one last follow-up visit this week. What I will say is thanks to Dr. Hunt. I am about 99% back to living my normal life. I feel as if I never had the accident or surgery. I have no pain and my range of motion is back. I can't thank him and his staff enough for giving me my life back. There is no better from start to finish. Dr. Hunt is more than a doctor. He is a wonderful person who is always going above and beyond for his patients. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is just truly amazing and dedicated. I wish that you please take the time to share this with him.”

  • “After sustaining an Achilles tendon rupture playing tennis, and unfortunately waiting several months to seek treatment (my fault), I consulted with Dr. Epstein. He advised me I needed an Achilles reconstruction because an Achilles tear repair usually can only be performed within a short period after the injury.  After a thorough explanation of the injury and the proposed surgery, Dr. Epstein performed the complicated reconstruction surgery in a same-day procedure.  Although I required crutches and months of physical therapy after the surgery, I have had excellent results and have resumed normal activity without a problem. Both my wife (a physical therapist) and I found Dr. Epstein to be skilled, thorough, and professional.  More than that, however, he always sat down with us during the office visits and explained everything, answering all questions in a friendly and understandable manner. Finally, the Tri-County Orthopedics facility and staff are first rate.”

  • “The office experience was nothing less than professional. The wait time was brief, and the staff friendly. Dr. Hunt was thorough and methodical. He explained what he thought was the issue and spoke of options. I recommend them highly.”
    – Mark B.
  • “So far fantastic.  Dr. Epstein has been great at explaining in detail everything that we need to know, as well as addressing my daughter, whom is the one having ACL surgery.  He has also made it like he has all the time in the world for us, which has made us extremely comfortable.  As a parent, it's great that he and everyone at Tri-County Orthopaedic have had so much patience.”

  • “Our son had a shoulder that was always popping out from a motocross injury and making him unable to continue the sport he loves.  We saw a doctor that told us he would have to put a brace on and live with it because both physical therapy and surgery wouldn't help. My husband and I thought that was rather strange and decided it was time to find another doctor. We found Dr. Hunt. From the first visit, we knew we had found the right doctor for our son. He explained the mechanism of the injury. He understood the mechanics of our son’s sport and he gave us options.  We left that appointment deciding to finish the physical therapy that the other doctor started. Yes, the doctor that said it wouldn't help had him in physical therapy! At the end of physical therapy, we were back for our follow up with Dr. Hunt. Our son was not benefitting from the physical therapy and decided, after discussing everything with Dr. Hunt, that he wanted to proceed with surgery to correct the instability. We are now a month and a week out of surgery. Our son told Dr. Hunt at his post-op that his shoulder feels the best that it ever has! He is using his arm in normal, light, daily activity and sleeping without it popping out. Physical therapy will continue through the end of September. Adam is looking forward to returning to motocross in the fall, something he didn't think he would be able to go back to!  Thank you Dr. Hunt!”

  • “Dr. Epstein treated my 16-year-old daughter. She had a recurring problem with her ankle, which other orthopedist doctors had given up on. Dr. Epstein was the only physician who thought to take 'stress' x-rays, which is the bending her ankle where it was painful to take the image. Eureka! He found out the root of the problem and after reconstructive ligament surgery and several weeks of physio, she is a happy an active kid once more. I can't thank Dr. Epstein enough. He not only is extremely pleasant, but also always made the time for my daughter, never making us feel like another number in his waiting room. Finally, kudos to Tri-County Orthopedics. We never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen, compared to other places where the wait was always an hour plus. Thank you to all concerned.”
    – Charlotte D.
  • “We are very fortunate to have a hip specialist such as Dr. Hunt in our area of New Jersey. He is confident in diagnosing and he puts you at ease when communicating. He spends enough time with you when answering your questions, even if it's the same question over and over! Thanks Dr. Hunt!”

  • “I just want this to be a thank you to Dr. Ginsberg for being the most professional and caring physician I've ever met.  She takes time to explain my questions in a way I can understand. She offers solid advice and is compassionate and kind each and every time I see her. Her staff reflects her professionalism and expertise. They are always helpful and polite. I am very grateful to have this wonderful doctor when I am in need of orthopedic medical treatment.”
    – Jeanne H.
  • “I broke my clavicle in 5 places as a result of a bicycle accident. The pain was not fun. After the surgery, the pain was gone and recovery went easily. -- Joe K.”

  • “Dr. Goldberger was very attentive and caring. He and his associates did an excellent job preparing me for surgery on my foot and the post-op attention was very thorough. I am glad that I had such a competent and dedicated doctor doing my surgery. I would recommend him and the team to anyone for their future needs.”
    – Doug J.
  • “There is only one word to describe my experience with Tri-County Orthopedics and that word is WONDERFUL. Dr. Paul Lombardi and his staff put me at ease immediately with my condition and the scheduling of my surgery. I had anterior bi-lateral hip surgery, which was successful and practically pain free. Dr. Lombardi and his assistant Oliver were at the hospital everyday to check on my status and answer all my questions with such care and concern. They made me feel like I was a VIP. (More doctors should take lessons from him). I don't know any of Dr. Lombardi's partners but, if they are anything like him, they are great too.  Thank you, thank you and thank you to an awesome doctor and his dedicated staff. They made sure I had my surgery stress free. They left me with the knowledge that I could call them and they were there for me all the time. A special extra thank you to Jeanette in scheduling and Shakina in prescriptions.”
    – Michele Y.
  • “I suffered for an entire year with a stress fracture in my large toe on my left foot. You name it, I had everything from sever pain, foot brace, then foot boot, constant fever in the instep. A podiatrist just didn't do the job.  My son, who works with the group, made me make an appointment with Dr. Goldberger. The first visit was all it took. He diagnosed the proper care, orthotics, and prescription gel. I can finally walk my 2 miles a day, pain free.”
    – Barbara P.
  • “I had hip replacement surgery last June. Dr. Lombardi explained that since I was having an anterior approach, my recovery would not be that bad. He was right. I was walking within one week of the surgery.”
    – Carol M.
  • “I had a right and left hip replacement done and could not have asked for a better doctor.”
    – Chris C.
  • “It started with knee pain on the right! Ouch! Went to Dr. D'Agostini and sure enough, I was on the surgery table with my first knee replacement, mind you I was in my early 50's! He told me, Do what I tell you, exercise, and you will have a good result.” I did and it is fantastic. Well, I needed the left leg done and that has been even better! I do squats, walking, biking, swimming, etc., and no pain. Don't wait, get it done, and forego the pain. It is worth it.”
    – Beverlie C.
  • “My experience with Tri-County Orthopedics has always been a great experience. I have always found everyone to be professional, very helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. They are always applying the most current medical information needed to treat our family.  My daughter is an active soccer player, and our interaction with Drs. McBride and Ginsberg has been exceptional. Both were able to provide a completely accurate diagnoses and prescribed the right treatments for the injuries. These doctors genuinely possess a great deal of compassion, and truly do understand the complexity of sports related injuries. I personally think their strategic alliance with SportsCare is a critical one for patients and one that I have utilized for our family. It makes it a lot easier to visit your doctor on one floor and have a therapy session on another floor in the same building, having these all in one location without additional driving. Dr. Colizza performed my knee surgery almost one year ago.  He's extremely professional, knowledgeable, and all of his recommendations were accurate and beneficial. My knee surgery was a completely professional and pleasant experience.  Surgery can always create a little apprehension. From admitting, to pre-op, surgery and post-op, it was truly the best surgical experience I have ever had. The staff was very professional, extremely pleasant, and made me feel very relaxed. It was a very peaceful environment, and I quickly realized that I was in the hands of some of the best professionals in our area. The private surgical experience for me is preferred for any future surgeries. For me, the doctor/patient relationship is an important component to the success of any procedure and full recuperation. I have to trust and respect the doctor(s) standing in front of me. I can unequivocally state that every doctor that I have interacted with at Tri-County Orthopedics has our complete trust, confidence, and respect. I have never doubted a diagnosis or treatment, and more importantly, I have never had a reason to do so.”
    – Catherine M.
  • “I was in constant pain, walking with a cane and I finally decided to have my hip replaced. I had surgery on Friday, went home Sunday. After a short recovery period, I was and have been pain free now for over 2 years. Why didn't I do it sooner!”
    – Georgia C.
  • “I was injured while at dance class, shortly before I turned 15. The diagnosis was torn fibers in my Achilles. After a year of physical therapy, casts, boots, natural remedies, etc., I was recommended to Tri-County Orthopedics. Dr. Goldberger recommended surgery because we had tried everything else. Finally, over a year later, after having surgery, during my spring break, less than 3 months later, I'm living life as a 16-year-old should. I'm planning to return to dance after being side lined for over a year. I appreciate Dr. Goldberger and the entire staff at Tri-County Orthopedics for giving me back my life.”

  • “I had a completely flat foot with a very bad bunion. I proceeded to see Dr. Goldberger to assess the options I had as far as treatment went. I started with custom-made orthotics and followed the doctor’s orders. After 6 months, I saw improvement as fair as pain is concerned. I booked another appointment with Dr. Goldberger and he explained the next step was surgery. The surgery would consist of anywhere from 2 to 4 parts. He discussed with me the options of doing a bunionectomy, the Evan's procedure for calcaneal/metatarsal lengthening, with a possibility of an Achilles' tendon lengthening and lengthening of the ligaments in my toes. After being prepped at the out-patient center for surgery, both Dr. Goldberger and his PA came and re-explained the whole procedure and explained that we would be doing the bunionectomy, the Evan's procedure, and the Achilles' tendon lengthening. Post-op, the pain was minimal thanks to a suggested nerve block as well as necessary medication. The first week of post-op was the most painful, but after the second week, almost all pain was either gone or minimal and swelling decreased tremendously. I am very satisfied with Dr. Goldberger's work, and will return to do the other foot!”

  • “I got my new knee in March. I healed well and fast. I expect to make an appointment to have the other one done, hopefully before September. Dr. Goldman did a great job on me. Glad I got it done.”

  • “I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2006. I began to have numerous pains in joints all over my body. I started with one rheumatologist and was put on medication. My faith was strong and I firmly believe God's hand has been on me.  I never had to go on strong pain medication and my sleep was never affected. I did give up my position as a vascular technologist and became disabled. Family struggled with the loss of both parents, my daughter-in-law's illness, and my intellectually disabled son continued to add stress. I changed my rheumatologist and received a more definitive diagnosis, but the pain continued. I received numerous injections that only provided temporary relief. Finally, the rheumatologist called me Crippled!” It was like a light had gone off and I knew I had to get more help. I sought my internist's recommendations with a prayer and he referred me to Dr. Goldman. I saw Dr. Goldman in January and my bilateral replacement was scheduled on March 13. I am so grateful and my heart is overwhelmed! I can walk. I usually am ahead of my husband always now! Recently, I had the joy of attending the USA Special Olympics for my son, which he won 2 Gold medals. Thank You, Tri County Orthopedics. Especially, Dr. Goldman. God Bless You!!”

  • “I had a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder, from over 25 years of abusing it playing softball. I took up triathlon in 2010, but the torn rotator cuff and eventually was in desperate need of repair. I had about a 99% tear, literally hanging on by a thread.” Dr. Hunt patched me up in January of 2012, and after following his instructions to a tee with physical therapy, I was back to swimming 4 months later. I completed a half-ironman triathlon 7 months post-surgery. After 18 months post surgery, I completed an Ironman in July 2013, which includes a 2.4-mile swim, 112 miles of biking, and a 26.2-mile run. Thank you Dr. Hunt for everything you have done for me, for never even thinking/suggesting I give up the active lifestyle I love, but instead working with me to get me back stronger than ever!”

  • “I am a serious athlete and compete in biking, skiing, racquetball, skydiving, scuba diving, and golf. My hip went bad in a span of 2 months. I was very nervous that my sports were done. I am also a contractor and climb ladders all day long. I also thought that my business could be finished. Dr. Paul Lombardi told me that I would be 100% in a short time. The first 2 days after surgery were hard and I needed a cane to get around. I woke up on day 3 and felt much better. I got on my bike and went off for a 20-mile bike ride with no problem. I was able to skydive in 5 weeks with no problem and was playing racquetball in 6 weeks. It is a miracle that I am back to my old self and don't even think about my hip anymore. Dr. Lombardi did a great job on my hip and my confidence in my ability to continue with my life. I am also 70 years old, so it is never too late to get your life back.”

  • “I had a full knee replacement on December 19th. From the time I had my pre-op tests and stayed to listen to the nurse and physical therapist, all was in detail of what I would expect. The day of surgery was great and was taken on time. Seems hard to believe, but it was only an hour like they told me. The care at Morristown Memorial was exceptional. The nursing staff and physical therapy staff was pleasant, explaining everything they were going to do. It's been six months. I have been able to play golf again and do things I couldn't do with the pain I had before this surgery.  Dr. Lombardi and his associate also were exceptional.”
