I have seen Dr. Willis for several injuries over the years. He repaired a distal biceps repair in 2012, which is fully healed and achieved 100% strength and function. A shoulder injury thought to be a rotator cuff repair in 2017 was resolved with a cortisone shot and 100% recovery and strength. Most recently, I was suffering from moderate to severe pain and loss of function in my right lateral elbow. Dr. Willis ordered an MRI and found a partial tear in my common extensor tendon. Several options were discussed. I opted again for a conservative approach and received a cortisone shot in lieu of a possible surgery. My pain level went from a 9/10 to a 2/10 in 2 days. Within a week the pain was totally gone. I was able to return to my exercise program after 3 months of rest and have gained 100% function and pain relief since then.
