My Comeback Story: Randy K.
Walk In Clinic Cuccess Ctories. I Have Two of Them.

March of 2016, I experienced pian in my right shoulder that was somewhat severe with certain motions. Fifty-eight years old. I fixed computerized machines in machine shops for almost 30 years. Went to Tri County Orthopedics walk in clinic to be examined to find out what was going on. Dealt with a sports doctor and he said if I needed surgery, I would be assigned to a surgeon. Met Dr. Montgomery after MRI and he explained what was damaged. Three out of 4 tendons were torn around the shoulder, and the Bicep tendon was also torn on the right shoulder. Recommended PT to see what progressed. Did several weeks of PT and played golf a few times over the summer. Had some pain but worked through it. We scheduled surgery for November of 2016. Pain was minimal until September and we moved surgery up to October. Surgery went well and spent 6 months doing PT and also more PT at home. Everything came along well and within a year I was back to full motion and no pain. Jump to August of 2025 and I damaged the left shoulder after I retired. Checked to see if Dr. Montgomery was still with Tri-County and he was. Followed the same steps (walk in clinic) and Dr. Montgomery performed surgery in December of 2025. Damage to the left was not as bad as the right. Bone spurs were cutting the tendons, and it hurt all the time. Less than 4 months of heavy PT as I am retired and all motion restored and very little pain. Will take about 6 months to be back to where I was before injury. I have my life back and really could never thank Dr. Montgomery and all the staff at Tri-County Orthopedics enough. I trusted these people with my life. I was not let down. Would recommend Tri-County any day of the week. I've heard and read nightmare stories of other rotator cuff surgeries performed by other orthopedic facilities. I'm living proof. Both rotator cuff surgeries within 10 years. And no issues or problems.
