My Comeback Story: Nick P.

My New Knees

I've now had 18 surgeries on my body and this was likely the most intricate. A bi-lateral knee replacement. It was so much better than I had anticipated. I took no pain pills after the procedure other than Celebrex and Tylenol. My rehab went very well. I was driving in 11 days, back in the gym in a month and playing pickleball at 3 months. I took PT very seriously and worked my butt off both before and after the procedure. My legs are stronger than ever and I have no pain. I'm never going to win an Olympic sprint race, but I'm back to refereeing high school football and basketball. A huge shoutout to Dr. Forbes and the Tri-County team as well as the folks at Morristown Hospital.
