After Vietnam trip, Dr. Montgomery continues commitment to advancing orthopedics overseas

Our own Dr. Kenneth Montgomery has recently returned from a trip to Vietnam earlier this year, where he volunteered his skills and knowledge to aid in local healthcare development as part of the OrthoNations mission.

Co-founded by Dr. Montgomery in 2015, OrthoNations is a nonprofit organization for the international advancement of orthopedics. Having begun their efforts in Vietnam, OrthoNation’s goal is giving the developing world access to the latest knowledge and technology in arthroscopic and orthopedic surgery. OrthoNations fosters cross-cultural scholarship through medical missions and training from visiting surgeons, and the organization is currently seeking to expand their efforts to include domestic lecturing and training through observation for young foreign surgeons.
