The Doctors of Morris County Orthopedics Have Joined Tri-County Orthopedics
Starting January 1, 2019, the doctors of Morris County Orthopedics will join Tri-County Orthopedics, the most preferred, recognized and awarded orthopedic practice in the region. With the addition of board-certified orthopedic surgeons Frank Capecci, M.D., F.A.A.O.S., Ken Cubelli, M.D., F.A.A.O.S., and Rocco Simmerano, M.D., F.A.A.O.S., Tri-County Orthopedics will expand their services to Denville and the surrounding communities. Tri-County Orthopedics’ newest doctors are available to see patients in need of specialized bone, joint and muscle care at their current office in Denville at 109 Route 46 E., Suite 1. Drs. Capecci, Cubelli and Simmerano join Tri-County Orthopedics with nearly 75 combined years of serving the orthopedic needs of area residents. As fellows of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, they have all received board certification in orthopedic surgery through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery to offer the highest level of specialized orthopedic care.

Dr. Cubelli is a New Jersey native who received his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine in New York City and completed his specialized surgical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He has over 34 years of experience treating area patients and specializes in treating injuries and conditions of the ankle, foot, hand, knee and shoulder.
Dr. Cappecci joined Dr. Cubelli in private practice in 1994 after several years in practice in Ohio. He is a first-generation Italian immigrant who grew up in New York and New Jersey. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he also completed his surgical and orthopedic training. Dr. Capecci’s clinical areas of expertise and special interests include treating diseases and injuries of the shoulder, hip and knee, including the surgical and nonsurgical management of arthritis.
Lifelong Morris County resident Dr. Simmerano specializes in hip arthroscopy, joint replacement and treating sports-related injuries. He is a graduate of Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School and completed his surgical and orthopedic training at Tufts University in Boston. In 2004, Dr. Simmerano returned to New Jersey to practice with Drs. Cubelli and Capecci. He offers the latest in orthopedic treatments, including platelet-rich plasma injections and direct anterior hip replacement.
