Dr. Stephen Hunt Discusses Injured Yankees Shortstop in New York Post

Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius is currently awaiting a surgery scheduling for his torn ulnar collateral ligament (UCL). The elbow injury requires a reconstructive surgery known as Tommy John surgery, a procedure Dr. Stephen Hunt is familiar with as a fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist.

Given his area of expertise, Dr. Hunt was featured in the New York Post’s article on Gregorius’s injury and upcoming surgery. Dr. Hunt explained the recovery ahead for Gregorius and made projections for when he could be back on the field.
