Judy S. Returns to Skiing & Exercise After Knee Replacement Surgery

Tri-County Orthopedics is proud to share the comeback story of Judy S., who returned to skiing and other activities she loves following a knee replacement performed by Dr. Robert Goldman.

When knee pain began limiting Judy’s ability to stay active, she turned to Tri-County Orthopedics for care. Dr. Goldman, a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, performed her knee replacement at a Bridgewater surgical center. Judy was surprised by how smoothly the day went, returning home just hours after surgery and even walking upstairs to her bedroom.

“Judy’s outcome represents what thoughtful surgical care and a strong recovery plan can achieve,” said Dr. Goldman. “Relieving pain is only part of the process. Helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities that bring them joy is always our priority.”

Following surgery, Judy worked closely with her care team throughout her rehabilitation, steadily regaining strength, mobility and confidence. As her recovery progressed, she began returning to the activities she enjoys most. Today, Judy is back to skiing, swimming and exercising, activities she once feared losing.
